  1. http://www.monsanto.com/monsanto_today/for_the_record/pig_patent.asp It ended 3 years ago. They aren't in that business anymore. They still stink, but they are no longer trying to patent pigs.

  3. Is this a recent video? Doing a little research, it looks like Monsanto abandoned this idea in 2007 after Greenpeace got involved. Please let me know if I am wrong! I HATE Monsanto and love nothing more than having another reason in my arsenal to despise them!

  4. Even if they abandoned the ideal do that make you like them anymore? its the thought of them wanting to do that which is scary

  5. It doesn't matter if they are officially going after this patent currently with such a big and controlling company like Monsanto they are still trying in someway just not publicly.

  6. They are wanting to patent alfalfa, currently, involving the Supreme Court. Justice Clarence Thomas was a former lawyer for Monsanto. Do you think he will recuse himself? Imagine, that the US government allows a corporation to own our food supply; particularly when the owners could care less about food or its safety. They are into chemicals, like their Agent Orange and now their Roundup Ready and the herbicidal genes they've inserted into their soy and corn (80-90% of our soy and corn)which attach to our body's intestinal DNA and CONTINUE to release pesticides in our gut long after we ate our last bean. WE have now become human laboratories for the production of pesticides. Would you call this corporate terrorism?

  9. THIS is why I grow my own veggies...100% organic. Can't trust the food supply anymore, GAH!!!

  10. The only way to know anything is 100% organic is if you have it tested otherwise you are blindly follow a shiny sticker on a piece of fruit or packet of seed telling you it is organic.

  11. The photo shown is not that of a pig. It's a cow. Take it from an old Maine farmer's granddaughter. Laughter is good medicine.

  13. I joined Greenpeace in order to work actively against this company. I am relieved that the pig patent is not on the front burner right now, but they don't just abandon ideas. They just put them aside for later...

This is evil at it's ugliest folks.

Please join a group to keep informed about this horrible company. We will need everybody we can get to stop them from poisoning the natural order of the Earth..
